New York Bar Foundation to Honor Getnick & Getnick Counsel Michael E. Getnick with President’s Award
The New York Bar Foundation announced that it is presenting Michael E. Getnick with its President’s Award. He will receive the award during the virtual Annual Assembly of the Fellows on Friday, January 27, 2023. Mr. Getnick is of counsel to Getnick & Getnick LLP.
According to the New York Bar Foundation, the President’s Award “is presented to someone who has made an indelible impact on the law and served as a significant role model in New York and the broader legal community.” Foundation President, Carla M. Palumbo, President & CEO The Legal Aid Society of Rochester, said, “Michael Getnick is the embodiment of what we should all strive for as members of this profession. He has been a role model throughout New York State and his dedication is an inspiration.”
The New York Bar Foundation is a non-profit philanthropic organization that receives charitable contributions and provides grants to financially support law-related programs of legal services organizations, nonprofits, bar associations and other organizations throughout New York State.
