Getnick & Getnick Partner Margaret Finerty spoke on a panel at the October 20, 2022 IRS Whistleblower Summit held in Washington, D.C. The Summit, sponsored by the IRS and its Whistleblower Office, provided IRS whistleblower representatives an opportunity to hear from IRS leadership and staff regarding developments in the Whistleblower Program. Ms. Finerty was on a panel, along with IRS staff from the Whistleblower Office and Chief Counsel’s Office, discussing the monitoring of whistleblower claims and whistleblower award determinations.
