Neil V. Getnick Writes Foreword for Leading Treatise on Whistleblower Law
Getnick Law Managing Partner Neil V. Getnick has written the Foreword to the Eighth Edition of The False Claims Act – Whistleblower Litigation, a leading treatise on whistleblower law. The treatise is authored by James B. Helmer, Jr., whom Mr. Getnick describes as “one of the leading and most successful practitioners” in the area of whistleblower law.
Mr. Getnick is the Chairman of the Taxpayers Against Fraud (TAF), the leading national organization advocating for whistleblower laws and whistleblowers, and its sister membership organization the TAF Education Fund. Mr. Getnick and Mr. Helmer are both recipients of TAF’s Lifetime Achievement Award; and Mr. Getnick states that Mr. Helmer is “held in the highest esteem by his colleagues and for good reason.”
In the Foreword, Mr. Getnick highlights the treatise’s many important contributions to the field of whistleblower law and notes its status as an indispensable tool for all whistleblower practitioners. He advises readers to “[s]tart out by reading the Table of Contents and the title of Chapter 1” because “everything will follow from there.”
Mr. Getnick is “honored and privileged” that Mr. Helmer invited him to write the Foreword.
