Managing Partner Neil V. Getnick to debate David Ogden on Whistleblower Laws
Mr. Getnick has been tapped to defend the False Claims Act whistleblower law in a one-on-one debate with David Ogden of WilmerHale at the 2nd Annual Executive Forum on False Claims and Qui Tam Enforcement, to be held in New York on January 21, 2015. This comprehensive two day forum developed for in-house counsel and chief compliance officers as well as private practitioners will discuss practical tools for investigating, defending and settling False Claims Act cases. Mr. Ogden is a former Justice Department Deputy Attorney General who is now in private practice. He is the principal spokesperson on the False Claims Act for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, having principally authored the Chamber’s October 2013 report and served as the Chamber’s representative and given testimony at a Congressional hearing on False Claims Act enforcement held in August 2014. The debate should be spirited as two titans of False Claims Act practice face off in this not-to-be-missed event.
