Erika Ithurburn is an associate at Getnick & Getnick, where she is actively involved in firm’s whistleblower, anti-fraud litigation, and business integrity practices.
Ms. Ithurburn joined Getnick & Getnick in 2011, after graduating from New York University School of Law. While at NYU School of Law, Ms. Ithurburn served as a Student Fellow for the Center for Research in Crime and Justice and as Senior Symposium Editor for the N.Y.U. Journal of Legislation and Public Policy. Ms. Ithurburn was awarded the Thomas Stoddard Award for the greatest contribution by a third-year editor to the Journal for her work in planning the Journal’s symposium dedicated to the legislative legacy of the late Senator Edward M. Kennedy.
Prior to joining Getnick & Getnick, Ms. Ithurburn interned at the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York, the New York County District Attorney’s Office, and the New York City Administration for Children’s Services.
Ms. Ithurburn received her B.A. in both Political Science and Legal Studies from the University of California, Berkeley in 2007, graduating with Distinction in General Scholarship, and received her J.D. from New York University School of Law in 2011. She is admitted in New York State and is currently a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.
